Part of the private siding to the former Islington freezing works was lifted in June. Some of the buildings have been demolished as well.

The area is part of the industrial subdivision development known as Waterloo Business Park.

There has been progress at Mainfreight. Rails have been placed in the "tunnel" in anticipation of being laid.

The curved sections of the new sidings for Mainfreight were laid this week.
