A reminder that the AGM of the Campaign for Better Transport (CBT) this year will be at the Epsom Community Centre at 7:30pm on Thursday 23 July.
It has been another busy year both for us and for public transport in Auckland. With the City Rail Link set to open, we look forward to hearing from Lisa Lee, the lead for Customer Readiness Communications and Engagement for the City Rail Link.
Attendance is free and open to anyone that wants to find out more about the Campaign for Better Transport and our goals for the coming year ahead. In addition, it is the perfect opportunity to meet with like minded individuals and to catch up with old friends.
Paid members will also have the ability to attend online, with details being provided the day before the Annual General Meeting.
Only financial members of the Campaign for Better Transport can vote for the Committee and any other motions. Membership is $10 unwaged and $20 waged, and can either be paid by:
- Cash on the evening
- Bank transfer (please request the bank account details from membership at bettertransport dot org dot nz)
If a bank transfer is made, please use your name as the reference.
Once payment has been made, please e-mail membership at bettertransport dot org dot nz to ensure a copy of the agenda and relevant documents are provided to you ahead of the AGM.
We are always looking for new people to join our Committee and help with our lobbying efforts over the year ahead. If you would like to nominate someone (or yourself!) for the Committee please let us know. Our Rules require a Committee of up to six people in addition to the Convenor, Treasurer and Secretary.
